Capturing that special moment takes the talent and patience of a good photographer. As the customer, you must decide which photographer will fulfill your vision. Sydney Busch Photography offers options outside the traditional session to bring you images you will treasure as works of art. As a fine art photographer, Sydney Busch will work with you to create a masterpiece collection that will stand the test of time. The investment into a fine art collection is compensation for the time and talents provided by the photographer during the pre-session preparation, the session itself, and post production processing. Your session will include a variety of locations and props created specifically for you based on your consultation with the photographer and not available through traditional portrait studios. You will have an active role in the session and be fully engaged in the process. Your satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
Shopping for a good photographer can be exhausting given the number of photographers, portfolios, and packages to be reviewed. To make this process a bit easier, there are a few key components to consider when reviewing your options.
1. Review session fees with printing costs. Photographers typically charge you in two ways. The first charge is the session fee which includes your time with the photographer to take and edit the images. The second charge is for the selected prints of the images taken at the session. This can get very confusing and not easy to compare from one photographer to the next due to variations in what is included and what is not.
2. Minimum print fees. Many photographers require you meet a minimum print fee requirement as part of the package. Most photographer websites do not reveal if they have à la carte pricing and what those prices are.
3. Digital images versus printing. Some photographers include a certain number of digital images. For these to be of any real value to you, they should be high resolution files, otherwise you will be limited to the size of print you can develop from a low resolution file. Most low resolution files are only good for loading to social media sites.
